**Proposals Writer**:
An exciting opportunity for a Proposals Writer has been created at Willmott Dixon to join a dedicated team focused on winning and developing education projects for the Department for Education across England.

Responsible for the written content of our Department for Education (DfE) bid submissions (PITT/ITT). Submissions led by a DfE Senior Proposals Manager, collaboratively integrating expertise and contribution from our Collida Project managers and our Local Teams to achieve a min 50%-win rate. Naturally refining the process, through the removal of duplication and increasing the standards of DfE submissions.

**Responsibilities**:
**_DfE Bidding Service - contribute to the service to maintain PITT and increase ITT success rates.
- **
- **Bid to win -** minimum 6nr projects per year or circa £100m - £150m/annum
- ** Win before we bid -** maintain visibility of the locally led strategic campaign and influence plans on all pipeline projects and contribute to pre-bid library of collateral and win themes ahead of live bids.
- ** Live Bid Responsibilities -** facilitating/contributing to answer planning sessions, win theme workshops and managing the review process in conjunction with our bespoke DfE bid to win process and standards.
- ** Live bid responsibilities -** responsible for compelling and customer aligned written content on all DfE bids.
- ** Live Bid Responsibilities** - Population of InDesign Templates and production of all PITT and ITT Submissions.
- ** Ongoing review/adaption** - of written content and best and next practice to continually evolve, develop and align skills. Learn from results/feedback/analysis to refine content, process and standards for continual improvement and greater success.
- ** Work with regional Heads of Proposals** - to share collateral, and win strategies for overflow projects where no capacity within the National Team.
- ** Framework renewal** - contribute to positioning and structuring for framework renewal bid and future live framework service offering.
- ** Knowledge Share **- work with our dedicated knowledge team to ensure sufficient evidence and data captured to elevate compelling proposals. Share educational collateral with the wider business via our Industry leading knowledge platform.
- ** Training & Development **- attend/undertake regular training courses.

**Essential and Desirable Criteria**:
**Essential**:

- APMP Foundation
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- InDesign
- Microsoft Office Suite

**Desired**:

- A Level/Degree English Literature
- Background utilising excellent writing skills e.g. Communications, PR, Journalism
- Schedule (Resource/Time) Management Platforms
- Photoshop/Illustrator
