**The Role**
Working within a small Procurement team reporting into the Procurement Team Leader, the buyer will be responsible for:

- Managing the purchase of goods and services for the site through SAP procurement system
- Expediting critical orders for the site
- Create and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers acting as the main contact for goods and services for the organisation
- Cost analysis of new and existing procurement in order to implement cost saving solutions
- Working alongside key internal stakeholders to ensure technical and delivery requirements are met
- Assist in supplier performance evaluations
- Assist in new supplier onboarding in ERP system
- Work effectively with wider purchasing, finance and engineering team to streamline the purchasing and expediting of goods

Nigel Wright Supply Chain and Procurement Team is delighted to be working with a key Client within the Engineering sector to recruit a Buyer into the growing procurement team
**The Individual**
The successful Buyer will have/be:

- Excellent communication skills with internal key stakeholders as well as external suppliers
- Experience working in a process driven or manufacturing environment
- Analytical individual with good attention to detail
- CIPS qualifications would be beneficial
