Alliance Pioneer Group (APG) are now seeking Ambulance Care Assistants.

APG are a leading West Country ambulance, events & medical services provider. Licensed by the CQC, members of the independent Ambulance Association and contracted to the NHS for 999 services in Devon & Cornwall, APG are dedicated to achieving and maintaining the highest standards of medical care.

As an Ambulance Care Assistant you will be transporting non-emergency patients to and from hospital appointments/ nursing homes/ residential homes ensuring the safety and comfort of all patients on board our ambulances.

Ambulance Care Assistant Staff Criteria
- Careful and considerate driver.
- Understanding of patients' abilities (conditions / limitations).
- Good people skills with a caring, polite and friendly manner.
- Physically fit, as you will be required to move patients.
- A full driving licence (no more than 3 points).]

All staff must have a positive attitude, be well presented, have good communication skills. As part of the team you must be able to follow instructions, provide good customer care, and have a friendly and approachable manner.

Experience of working in a health care profession would be advantageous but full training will be provided for this role. Prospective staff should live within reasonable distance of Plymouth.
