We have a great opportunity based at our Bedford Campus campus for an Employment Assistant to become a key member of our Foundation Learning department.

As an Employment Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

- Providing support within the work place for students with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities.
- Assisting the Employment Co-ordinator to set-up, maintain and review work placements.
- Providing overall care of the student and enable him/her to access the college facilities and develop independence within the wider community.
- Being an active member of the Foundation Team and to assist in the development of individual programmes and the assessment of student progress.
- Level 3 Learner Support Certificate or equivalent or/ willing to work towards
- Educated to Level 3 in Maths and English
- Have a valid driving licence

**Contract Type - Bedford College Professional Services**
- 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE) / 52 weeks per year
- 27 days per annum (plus public holidays), pro rata for part-time
