**Unsecured Lending Regional Technology Partner**

Working within WPB IT, the role has responsibility for contributing to overall regional delivery of IT capabilities towards WPB Unsecured Lending business, in addition to GLCM corporate cards, across WPB UK, CIIOM and Continental Europe. The role will contribute towards an overall delivery of a multi-million dollar portfolio of change, with customer experience at the heart of everything delivered.
The Technology Strategy & Strategic Partnerships, Regional Technology Partner job is responsible for leading and managing key initiatives supporting the UK & Europe Head of Lending in ensuring that HSBC Technology has a clearly articulated and well defined Technology Product Roadmap that is aligned to the outcomes of the wider Business Strategy.

**In this role you will**:

- Ensure the alignment of the Technology roadmap and Technology organisation strategies with the business imperatives
- Define and drive the execution of all transformation technology initiatives
- Assisting on engagements with Technology companies to form partnerships and strategic alliances
- Support the planning of Technology budgets to ensure alignment with strategic initiatives / objectives that deliver value to the Business
- Maintain oversight of technology investments across innovation and transformation initiatives
- Support the management of Technology-business relationship; represent Technology in business discussions and ensure necessary technology capabilities required by the business are planned
- Ensure that the Technology mission statement /vision and technology plans are communicated effectively across the necessary Teams
- Engage with key stakeholders such as in different lines of business and Value Streams
- Manage stakeholder relationships across multiple Regions, including WPB UK, CIIOM and Continental Europe
- Deliver best value from the relationships that you are engaged in adopting best practices
Requirements

**To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements**:

- IT Process and methodology knowledge and organisational prowess
- Proven experience of managing technology suppliers and contracts working in a similar role is mandatory
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar deliveries across distributed teams
- Highly organised with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written/presentational) with a history of representing technology in senior level meetings
- An ability to navigate in a complex organisation and be able to respond quickly to changing demands and priorities and be comfortable working independently
- A desire to solve issues and think outside standard solutions
- Experience defining and driving the execution of all transformation technology initiatives
