‘What exactly is the kids activity sector?’ you may ask. Think dance schools, football academies, gymnastics clubs - and everything in between. You may have attended one yourself as a child - or you could be a parent with children who love their after school clubs. This is a developing market with opportunities for massive growth.

**Role overview**:
As a Content Specialist you will be a natural at researching content and consumer trends to ensure that content is fun, relevant and appealing to our audience. Most importantly, you will understand how to create content that nurtures prospects and moves them closer to the consideration stage of their buying journey.

This is a demanding and fast moving role that requires someone who is able to exercise good judgement, can work with and take advice and recommendations from a team of high performing professionals without being intimidated and display significant initiative and creative chops.

You will LOVE analysing open rates, measuring traffic to your blog posts and understanding the psychology behind what converts. You will know how to tailor content messaging to match the audience as well as the stage of the funnel that applies. Our ultimate goal is to really speak to our audiences which is why this level of segmentation is so important.

**Day-to-day, you will**:

- Work with our SEO specialist to create keyword rich web content
- Manage and guide content strategy and delivery across channels in line with brand’s wider objectives
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in the kid’s activity space to ensure our content remains timely and relevant
- Conduct regular competitor research
- Come up with creative concepts to move prospects from ‘lead’ to ‘consideration’ stage of the funnel i.e sign up to our booking software
- Work with the wider team in brand, paid ads and content space to identify means of driving traffic back to our website
- Occasionally attend club shoots and events throughout the UK and Ireland (only a few of these throughout the year)
- Ad-hoc duties

**Your skills and experiences might also include**:

- Proven track record of creating content within a similar industry
- Knowledge of creating and implementing online content strategy and content delivery.
- Ability to produce and edit content across a variety of mediums; and at a fast pace
- A keen eye for aesthetics and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to think outside the box to come up with creative and innovative content suggestions
- Ability to contribute and manage content strategies in line with the brand’s wider objectives
- Can work independently and can hit the ground running (albeit with plenty of support)
- Knowledge of SEO desirable
- BA (Hons) Marketing Degree or equivalent also desirable
