The role of clinical practitioner at Winscombe & Banwell family practice includes providing care to non-differentiated illness presenting to general practice in the form of telephone queries, face to face appointments (from telephone triage) and directly booked face-to-face appointments (selected conditions). This is currently with the use of AskMyGP online consultation system which allows consultation via face to face, telephone or online messaging as felt most appropriate by the clinician. Other members of the MDT are accessible following triage. The role will also include visits to appropriate patients.
