An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Bath & North East Somerset Council at a time of significant change and modernisation.
Joining our Health, Safety and Wellbeing Team you will have a key role supporting in the delivery of a strong and robust Health, Safety and Wellbeing strategy, working in partnership with Directors and Heads of Service ensuring consistent and professional advice and guidance for the management of health, safety and wellbeing across the Council.
The postholder will work as part of a small team supporting Business Partners to deliver an effective health, safety and wellbeing service for the Council. You will need to be comfortable working collaboratively across boundaries and building new long term relationships particularly with colleagues in critical health and safety roles (such as with schools, waste, highways, care homes and property) to deliver on the things that matter most.
Your main place of work will be the award-winning, modern Civic Centre in Keynsham, halfway between Bath and Bristol, easily accessible via car or public transport, with a train station 5 minutes’ walk away.
