We are a sports & social members club in Patchway, Bristol, seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and welcoming person as our full time Club Steward. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of our club in conjunction with the assistant steward, club secretary and committee.

This full-time position requires a person with excellent organizational and personal skills, who will engage with the Club Committee to assist with the Club’s future growth and development and its standing in the local community.

The successful applicant will be expected to be an ambassador for the Club and represent the Club in a professional and friendly manner.

Essential requirements:

- A flexible approach to working hours
- Competent with electronic tills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Acceptable levels of computer literacy
- Responsible for all aspects of cellar management (Line Cleaning, stock management, ordering, deliveries etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness of the club.
- Ensure accurate bar accountancy procedures are practiced.
- Cashing up, float management and banking.
- Open / Close premises and maintain security.
- Assess and continually monitor the health and safety

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are negotiable with the club committee provided they meet the minimum specified in the contract.

This job also provides on-site accommodation
- 2 bedroom apartment and some outgoings.

We also offer enrolment into our pension scheme.

Salary is negotiable dependent upon experience.

**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Bristol, BS34 5JR: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Venue & Attractions Occupations: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer Service: 2 years (preferred)
