The Best Connection are recruiting for experienced CLASS 1 DRIVERS with FLT to join our well established team based in **Preston.**

**Requirements of the driver**:

- A full UK driving licence with C+E
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no IN, DD, DR, or DG endorsements)
- An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your own initiative
- FLT licence

**Day to day role includes**:

- Conduct thorough checks on the vehicle and maintain the appropriate temperature levels to ensure the safe delivery of all goods
- Multi-Drop, Trunking, Trailers, Box work, Pallet-ways, Bulk Loads
- Conduct pre and after-use vehicle checks in line with company policy
- Keep a close eye on vehicle defects and wear and tear and report them promptly
- Ensure that all documentation is filled out accurately and submitted on time

**Pay Rate**:

- £14.50 per hour. 8 hours minimum paid.

We are looking for drivers who are willing to start between 0500-0700, however all drivers need to be flexible in order to meet the requirements of the business.
