Itt Strategic Lead

Potentia Teaching School Hub (TSH) is primarily designated with the singular aim of recognising teacher and leader development as the most important form of school improvement. The TSH aims to build strong partnerships with other schools to support teachers and leaders in every phase and type of school, at each stage of their development.

From September 2023, all TSHs will be expected to deliver the new strategic roles to support local ITT delivery across their TSH area. This will be primarily focused on increasing school engagement in ITT with all ITT providers operating in the hub area - both in school placements and school settings for intensive training and practice.

**The core purpose of the role is to**:

- Increase school engagement in ITT across the Teaching School Hub region
- Find and support Intensive Training and Practice across the Teaching School Hub region
- Ensure that there is a strong transition from ITT to Early Career Framework (ECF)
- Recruit trainees to our ITT programme(s) for September 2024

Secondments from existing roles will be welcomed.
