The Die Corrector is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and modifying extrusion dies to ensure they meet the specified design requirements and quality standards. This role involves close collaboration with the Production and Engineering teams to address any die-related issues, optimise die performance, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the extrusion process.

**Responsibilities**:

- Die Inspection and Correction: Examine extrusion dies for wear, defects, and deviations from design specifications. Perform necessary corrections using precision tools and equipment.
- Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on dies to extend their lifespan and maintain product quality.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues with extrusion dies and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.Collaboration: Work closely with production and engineering teams to understand die performance issues and implement improvements.
- Quality Control: Ensure all corrected dies meet the required specifications and quality standards before they are returned to production.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of die inspections, corrections, and modifications performed. Update die inventory and maintenance logs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

**Experience & Skills**:

- Organised and structured way of working.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good work ethic and drive to complete work.
- Positive, self-motivated attitude and capable of achieving set targets
- Previous Manufacturing experience
- Previous extrusion experience is desirable
- A qualification in an engineering background is desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£26,835.00 per year
