As a Tour Coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating and administrating all Travelbound Student Tours bookings from the point of confirmation until the return, whilst ensuring that the client rebooks for the following sales period. Relationships need to be established and built very quickly, whilst delivering outstanding levels of dedicated customer service at all times.

**What you will be doing**:

- Confirmation and re-confirmation of accommodation, transfers and excursions, as well as all payments and all other administrative duties for each tour
- We take health and safety extremely seriously and adhere to exacting requirements and codes of practice laid out by Travelopia and the School Travel Forum. By collaborating closely with our Health and Safety department, you will ensure that we are fully aligned with the necessary requirements
- Scrupulous attention to detail is vital throughout the cycle of the booking, ensuring that the client has a memorable tour
- You will be the main point of contact for the client and the final delivery of the product is organised by you
- With a small lead in delivery time, you will need to be able to work efficiently and respond to tight delivery time frames
- Upselling is a key responsibility in this role to ensure that margins and revenue are increased on all tours from the point of confirmation to travel
- In key sales periods, you will also work to meet or exceed agreed sales targets in order to increase business activity by contacting existing customers and crafting new business opportunities
- Out-of-hours on-call responsibilities from time to time will be required

**What we are looking for**:

- Excellent written and spoken English
- Top-class customer service skills. Our brand prides itself on our ability to develop a close rapport with our party leaders
- Excellent time management and organisational skills. The position also requires meticulous attention to detail
- Proven track record to build and close their own sales leads is desired
- We are looking for commercial savvy, to be adaptable, reliable and flexible, with a responsible approach to your work
- We are a small team and need a strong and enthusiastic teammate
- Foreign languages are desirable as is knowledge of European and worldwide destinations.
- Proficiency with MS Applications such as Word, Excel and Teams is important
- Lastly, a personal passion for travel and adventure is also welcome
