Skilled Solderer

We are currently recruiting for a number of Skilled Soldering to work in production for our client, a leading electronics manufacturing company based in Stockport, who provide electronic design and manufacturing solutions in both PCBA and full build box manufacturing.

The Skilled soldering roles we have available will focus on the production of PCB and other electronic components for various sectors that include Aerospace, Defence, Industrial and Energy.

The Skilled Soldering role will involve:

- Rework and repair of PCBs of various complexity
- Integrate PCBs into RF Amplifiers and other small assemblies and complete to customer specific engineering drawings
- Complete partially built PCBs using Through Hole and Surface Mount technology down to microscopic level
- Termination of connectors and wires (soldered buckets, RF connectors, wires to terminals/pads, power

For the Skilled Soldering role you will need:

- IPC 610/620 qualification
- J-Std qualification
- Ability to interpret complex schematics and engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- A good level of dexterity sand hardworking approach

Working pattern options available:

- Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 15:30 and Friday 07:00 - 12:00
- Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:00 and Friday 07:30 - 13:00
