**IT Tutor Job Opportunity**
IT Tutor Wanted for Adult Community Based Learning
**Responsibilities**:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective IT lessons to a diverse group of adult learners
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to support their learning journey
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Collaborate with team members to ensure that classes are well-organised and meet the needs of the students
- Complete necessary admin and records to demonstrate learners’ registration, attendance and progress within the programme.
**Requirements**:
- A recognised teaching qualification at minimum level 3
- Proven experience teaching IT to adult learners
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of individual learners
- Commitment to continuous professional development
Desirable:
- Experience of working within a grass roots organisation and an understanding of the voluntary and community sector
Hours: 25 hours per week (20 hours teaching, 5 hours preparation, planning and admin)
Contract: May 1st to July 31st July
**Salary**: £17.25 per hour
