Our client are a multinational, agricultural medical business that's one of the largest companies in the sectors.
The Procurement Manager is responsible for supporting the UK Head of Procurement and mid to senior managers that have contract spend, in the delivery of agreed objectives across multiple categories of indirect services: IT, Telephony, FM, Utilities, Fleet etc,
The core responsibilities include:

- Develop relationships with Business and Functional leads across all Corporate, Supply Chain and Operations Departments
- Supporting stakeholders in clearly defining the business need and developing the supplier brief
- Owning and co-ordinating the issue and appraisal of RFI / RFP/ Tender documents
- Manage the end to end tender process with stakeholders
- Lead commercial and contractual negotiation
- Support and align Local and Global procurement strategies
- Supplier relationship manager for all Category Suppliers
- Development of Category Strategies and preferred supplier lists
- Implement Supplier agreements (Contracts or SLA's) and hold regular Business reviews with suppliers to monitor performance and drive innovation
- Monitor spend activity across the business to ensure compliance with the UK Indirect Procurement Policy
- Co-ordinate monthly reports with relevant KPI's such as:

- Cost savings, Cost avoidance, Cost reduction plans, Spend analysis, Supplier reductions and value added activities
About you
- Demonstrable experience of achieving significant savings through both major initiatives and continuous improvement on an annual basis
- Experience in some or all of the following: Marketing, IT, Travel and Entertainment, Facilities Management, Repairs & Maintenance, Temporary Labour, Fleet Management, Capex (Desirable)
- CIPS Level 4 minimum (Preferable)
- Knowledge and experience of Vendor Monitoring and Management
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with ERP/ MRP systems
