Senior Service Advisor

**Senior Service Advisor required to join a Main Dealer in Hertfordshire.**

Salary £28-£30k DOE OTE £45k + Uncapped bonus

Working hours Mon-Fri 8am-6pm. 1 in 3 Sats 8-1:30pm paid at time 1/3.

Due to continuing success and expansion we are looking to recruit a Senior Service Advisor to join our team.

You will be welcomed into a warm and friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting product line.

There is an oppourtunity to progress into Service Reception Manager after probation.

**A large part of the Senior Service Advisor position involves**:

- Meeting and greeting customers in a friendly and courteous manner throughout the day.
- Booking vehicles into the technical workshop.
- Liaising with the technical workshop to keep track of the vehicles’ progress and ensuring the vehicle is ready at the promised time.
- Providing exceptional customer service, including establishing customers onward travel arrangements, updating customers whilst their car is in our workshop, handing over vehicles after service work and maintaining ongoing relationships with your customers.
- Maintaining thorough product knowledge and updating your knowledge through manufacturer led training.
- Adopting a sales approach regarding upsell opportunities and retention products.
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.

**About our requirements**

We expect our new Senior Service Advisor to demonstrate some skills that will prove very beneficial in the position, including:

- Customer awareness - relevant experience in an automotive environment together with a proven track record of delivering great customer service is essential.
- Confident and professional communication skills - excellent communication skills and will be able to interact with customers to deliver a great service.
- Ability to work to deadlines and targets - Organised and able to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong teamwork skills - the drive and determination to succeed in a demanding environment.
