Hgv Mechanic

Opus Vitae are actively recruiting for a **HGV Technician** on behalf of our client, a road haulage company based in the Newtown area.

**Working Hours**: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm, overtime hours available between 6am-6pm.

**Salary**: £24,960 - £35,360 per annum, dependent upon experience.

**Experience we are looking for...**
- **Qualified mechanic, with a minimum of 2 years experience working on HGVs desirable, car mechanics will also be considered for the position with training provided**:

- Experience completing preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs and servicing on a variety of plant equipment/LGVs
- Flexibility to complete overtime and additional working hours - highly desirable
- Full clean HGV Driving Licence advantageous, not essential

**Your Daily Responsibillites will include...**
- Routine vehicle maintenance of company and customer vehicles and plant to DVSA or other relevant standards.
- Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
- Diagnosing of vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
- Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
- Accurate completion of paperwork.
