**Treasury Assistant - Lisburn - £25-£27k**

Our client, a leader in their industry based in Lisburn has a requirement for a Treasury Assistant/Analyst to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

This role will join their growing Finance Team, monitoring and managing the Company’s daily cashflow and working alongside the Accounts Payable team in formulating multi-currency payment runs. This role will play a key part in monitoring and forecasting short term cashflow position and will proactively manage the Company’s foreign currency exposure.

You will prepare accurate reports and forecasts for wider management and will actively pursue and implement process improvements, promoting an environment of risk awareness and aversion and strong internal control as the company enter a period of considerable volume growth.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

Managing and monitoring daily cashflow movements and preparing UK and Europe bank and debt reconciliations

Working with the Accounts Payable Team Lead to plan and execute multicurrency supplier batch payment runs

Work with Functional Team Leads and external accountants to prepare short term cashflow reports

Work with Assistant Accountant and AR Team Lead to monitor and forecast usage of the Company’s Invoice Discounting facility

Preparing month end cashflow usage and forecast reports UK and European subsidiaries for Management Teams

Monitor and manage the usage and availability of foreign currencies, utilizing hedging practices to manage the foreign currency exposure of the Company

Prepare and submit banking returns and submissions

Monitor usage of company credit cards

Developing, maintaining and documenting standard Treasury & Payments processes

Assist Accounts Payable Team in ad hoc query management and resolution

**Person Specification**

Knowledge (Education & Related Experience):
At least 2-3 year proven experience in a Treasury management role in a fast-paced environment

Experience of building and maintaining cashflow reports and forecasts

Experience of managing multi-currency payments and hedging currencies

Experience of driving process improvement and implementing efficiencies whilst maintaining best practice controls

Experience of using an ERP/accounting system to report accurate financial data. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 desirable but not essential.

Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel

The role is fully office based until training has been completed after which 1 day home working will be considered.
