Purpose of the job:
Working for a leading Ferry group as a Creative Artworker, you will be responsible for print and digital artwork adaptation and amends, through to the final product and print ready files, adhering to brand guidelines and always aiming to exceed expectations. The role is based on-site 1 day per week on the client’s site in Dover and a few times a month on board to support with surveys and installations. You will be working alongside our client and HH Global’s account managers, traffic manager and other studio members, to ensure creative solutions are delivered to high standards at all times.

We’re looking for a confident ‘self starter’ with strong experience with Retail/Branding POS, excellent communication, relationship building and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Follow the studio’s traffic management process to ensure best in class results are achieved.
- Responsible for complete development of specific projects, from concept, through design, to creating media-ready artwork.
- Develop creative solutions to meet the client’s needs, in line with their overall marketing strategy, working with HH account management teams and client marketing teams.
- Championing brand guidelines and ensuring best in class creative is output in each channel or touch point.
- Liaising with the client services team, internal studio team and external vendors for artwork checks.

Knowledge, Skills + Experience:

- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe CC; Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign.
- QuarkX experience a bonus - a small amount of files are worked on in this format.
- Proven track record of creative artworking with POS experience in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Excellent creative and technical skills, strong attention to detail is essential.
- Experienced in proofing text and quality checking artwork, can go beyond spell-check.
- Easy-going, able to multi-task, deal with multiple rounds of edits, amends and re-starts.
- Flexible and can adapting with agility to quickly changing priorities and tasks.
- Open to constructive criticism and can maintain a great attitude under pressure.
- Able to champion the client’s brand guidelines and maintain brand consistency while creating innovative and strategic designs.
- Highly organised with an internal drive to continuously improve and learn new skills.
- Knowledge on how to prepare final artwork for print, ensuring client requirements are met and the artwork is sent and approved with suppliers.
- Moderate skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects or any other video/animation software highly preferable, but not essential.
