**Job Description**:
**Job Title: Shipping and Installation Coordinator**

**Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire (close to the M40)**

Are you a detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in shipping and freight forwarding? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a passion for logistics? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our clients team as a Shipping and Installation Coordinator.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and manage the entire shipping process, including liaising with freight forwarders, carriers, and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of goods.
- Responsible for the successful end delivery of project loads
- Liaise with Production team for arranging shipment of equipment
- Prepare and review shipping documents, such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations, to ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.
- Monitor shipment schedules and proactively communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve any potential issues or delays.
- Coordinate installation projects, working closely with customers, suppliers, and installation teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate shipment and installation records, including tracking information, delivery confirmations, and installation completion reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, operations, and customer service, to streamline processes and optimise efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with import/export regulations and industry best practices, providing recommendations for process improvements and cost savings.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping and freight forwarding, preferably within the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, import/export procedures, and logistics operations.
- Proficiency in preparing shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in shipment records and compliance with regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Qualifications or certifications in Import/Export/Logistics are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems, such as ERP or shipping management platforms, is a plus.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

This is a full time / permanent role working 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role is based at our clients Banbury site.
**The salary for this role will be up to 33k DOE + other company benefits**
