**Salary**: £26,000 - £27,000 per annum
**Job Type**:Full Time, Permanent
Our clients are currently recruiting for an accounts payable administrator to join their Finance Team based in their office in Wokingham. This role reports to the Financial Controller and will support the finance team with accounts payable, assist with clientinvoicing and accurate payment information processing.
**The Role**
The job will involve:
- Providing high quality administrative accounting support accurately and to timetables
- Processing accounts payable operational and overhead transactions through their operational and finance system (Xero)
- Receiving and recording invoices on the systems (Average100 per day)
- Liaising with various departments to resolve supplier invoice queries
- Processing payment runs on a daily, bi-weekly and monthly basis
- Preparing and despatching remittance advices and cheques
- Performing daily bank reconciliations
- Entering transactions on Xero, uploading back-up for overhead invoices, ensuring invoices have been appropriately approved, coding and dealing with supplier queries
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Invoicing - reviewing client billing data and supporting the monthly invoicing process
- Reviewing information extracted from operating system for accuracy and investigating root cause of discrepancies and queries with the operations teams
- Provide support to the wider finance team with administrative and transactional processing activities as required
**Qualifications/Skills**
- Excel Skills
- Xero experience preferred
- A high level of attention to detail
- To be organised
- A team player
- Able to work on your own initiative
- A good communicator
- Experience of working in a similar admin or accounting role
It’s a busy time for their business so you’ll need to be a self-starter who is confident in managing your own workload and liaising with a variety of people. You will have proven experience of working in a financial support role. With very effective communicationskills, you’ll have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and be confident working across the MS office packages.
