A small independent business in Sandridge, St Albans are seeking a full time Shop Assistant. This role is available for an immediate start with no previous experience necessary, as full training can be provided.
The Village store serve a range of goods to a local community, from newspapers to fresh food, beverages and other convinience store stock. The business is open 7 days per week, requiring applicants who can work across all dates, including weekends. Approximately40 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £11.00. Shifts vary between 06:00 - 13:00 and 13:00 - 21:00, which will be alocated via a rota.
Staff should be able to stock goods, handle cash and process payments via a modern till system. The role does involve manual lifting of logs, gas bottles and groceries which are displayed at the shop front daily.
