**Procurement Planner
£30,000 per annum
Maldon, Essex
Monday-Friday, 8:45am-5:15pm** **Overall Purpose** Analysis and assessment of business demand within the different operating areas. Complete the activities and tasks associated with generating forecasts, product categorisation and MRP trigger calculations. Ensure the ERP system is maintained for effectiveMRP recommendation outputs. Ensure that processes are carried out efficiency and with the quality of service expected to support company strategy and policy.

**Key Tasks**:

- Proactive focus on forecasting demand levels and trends within the multiple markets: UK / US. Present data to Head of Supply Chain for review.
- Proactive focus on forecasting demand levels and trending within the product families of the business. Prepare and present business impacts against tactical decisions on territorial inventory and Kit deployment.
- Analysis and manipulation of data from the company ERP system or forecast files to calculate required re-order points, safety stocks and minimum order quantities.
- Adjusting and compensating for changes in supply routing or supplier lead-times. Checking ERP recommendations align to expectations relative to calculated forecast requirement.
- Support the implementation of new product lines. Implementing the required inventory levels for launch and start-up support to business divisions or territories.
- Action and review MRP Purchase Order suggestions. Track POs to the point of delivery, identify issues relating to supplier performance and present to the Head of Supply Chain
- Action issues relating to backorder products with respect to changes in demand.
- Liaise where necessary with Business Development Managers. Understand the requirements relating to commercial contracts, critical product and their impact on the inventory planning relating to product families.
- Correct or add device MRP triggers into the US ERP system as and when required to maintain their master data and successful process control.
- Support to be provided to the Supply Chain Team across all aspects during absence or annual leave.
- General file maintenance and good housekeeping of files, electronic and physical, ensuring traceability of products, activities, decisions at all times.
