Full Time 40 Hrs per week over 5 days.

Monday to Thursday 07.00 -15:45

Friday 07.00 - 13.00

Established in 1994 the company operates from three units in Evanton industrial estate, 20 miles North of Inverness. Clients are provided with a fast response service to manufacture machined components using sophisticated CNC equipment.

**Specialisation**

Precision machining of components using a range of CNC

machine tools, including,

Lathes from 2 to 8 axis, Machining Centres 3 & 4 axis.

EDM Wirecut, EDM Drilling, EDM Die Sinking.

2D and 3D CAD/CAM manufacture of complex parts.

R&D work in cutting edge technologies.

Level of job

Experienced CNC Operator - min 2 years

**Skills required**
- Demonstrate a good understanding of CNC controls and their operation.
- Show ability to understand Engineering Drawings.
- Show ability to adjust programs to achieve required tolerances.
- Have ability to correctly handle and read measuring instruments.
- Follow clear instructions.
- Be able to work well within a team.
- Have a strong work ethic and be a good time keeper.
- Show good communication skills and have a passion for learning.

**Salary & benefits**

The salary awarded will depend on the skill / experience / qualification of the successful applicant.

The basic starting salary range is £25,000 to £30,000 per annum (overtime is worked as required and paid at premium rates)

All employees receive 28 Days Holiday per annum, increasing with length of service to 32 days.

**Qualifications**

Minimum 2 years experience in operating CNC machines such as Lathes, Machining centres, Borers or similar machines.

Ideally holds a relevant engineering qualification.
