Transport Apprentice

**What you'll be doing**
- Own the lates process and communication across departments
- Be the owner of at least one of the desk mobiles throughout the day
- Support the traffic desk by answering phone calls & dealing with issues
- Ensure all advanced bookings are made
- Deal with and communicate any delivery failures ensuring reasons are entered into Transport system
- Create all UK direct jobs
- Create all Transport Only XD's
- Ensure UK transport filing and archiving is up to date
- Find any POD's that are requested either internally or externally
- Ensure any management reports/data are kept up to date as required by Transport Management
- Check & sign off 6 hourly trailer check sheet process

**Working Pattern**

Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm.

- Basic computer skills with a willingness to learn and improve skills as necessary
- Positive ‘can do’ approach
- Attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £5.00-£6.00 per hour
