When you travel, you’ll have seen the work of our traffic management business, not to mention our customer focused and safety conscious colleagues, who ensure our operational teams have the right equipment where and when it’s needed.

**The Role**

With Health and Safety and customer satisfaction underpinning every activity, our Traffic Management Operatives deliver, collect, exchange, and maintain equipment.

Working at customer sites they set up and install temporary traffic lights, as well as all the associated signage, frames, sandbags, and cones. Here are a few examples of what goes on behind the scenes:

- Checking equipment and systems are fit for use and fully operational
- Recording any damage to equipment once it’s returned from hire
- Maintaining battery banks
- Managing checklists
- Completing paperwork like timesheets and risk assessments accurately and on time
- Making sure that vehicles, tools and other equipment including clothing are maintained and ready to use
- Assisting with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Maintaining a safe, tidy, and clean yard environment
- Moving equipment and washing it ready for hire

**Can you do it?**

We’d love to hear from you if you have a full, UK valid driver’s licence and some experience of working in a similar role or outdoor, safety critical environment.
Lantra or NRSWA accreditation would be fantastic.
