**About the role**:
This role is based in our Gloucester office, and travel will be required throughout the Gloucestershire area for training and meetings.

As a Hate Crime Coordinator you will:

- Support the effective delivery of the Gloucestershire Hate Crime and Incident Strategy in the county
- Increase awareness of the issues of hate crime
- Work with partners to develop innovative support for victims and ways to tackle the issues of hate crime
- Deliver Hate Crime Champion training and awareness raising across a wide range of partnerships and agencies

You will need:

- Experience of developing effective working partnerships with organisations
- Experience of working in a multi-agency setting or partnership team environment
- An excellent understanding of and commitment to the promotion of equal opportunities and diversity
- A good awareness of the impact hate crime has on victims
- To be a self-starter, able to work without direct supervision, able to prioritise work and manage time effectively in an organised and methodical manner
