An exciting full-time post has become available as part of our team at Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) NHS Trust. Main duties of the job

You’ll need to have excellent communication and leadership skills, a flexible approach and the ability to manage your own time and workload and that of other members of staff within a supportive team. Experience of nutritional support and evidence of a varied clinical experience is essential.

Working for our organisation

We are a large and friendly department of around 100 staff including assistants and technicians providing dietetic and nutrition support across all areas of the Trust and beyond. The Service has excellent IT facilities and a dedicated group of non-registered staff who help provide dietetic support. Support would be available from dietitians working in other specialties provided from City Campus, including gastroenterology, critical care, burns, cardiac, renal, CF, other areas of oncology (including head and neck) and haematology.

The Trust is committed to providing excellent nutritional care, led by its Nutrition and Hydration Steering committee. We have close links with the University of Nottingham, and take student dietitians for A, B and C placements.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

You should have experience of working as a dietitian, have excellent communication skills, self-motivation, have a flexible approach and the ability to manage your own time and buys workload within a supportive team. Nutritional support skills are essential and additional training and support will be provided. As part of this role you will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE). You will look after a mixed caseload of inpatients as well as outpatients clinics including patients undergoing treatments (such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy). **Salary**: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
