This position involves working as part of a multi-discipline, highly interactive and coordinated team focused on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other state of the art manufacturing facilities. Projects for our clients include feasibility studies, long-range planning studies, and full design services including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and services during construction for design/bid/build and design/build projects.

**Requirements for this role**:

- Data Centre / Semiconductor experience preferable, or large scale industrial.
- Strong relevant engineering/design experience in industrial/advanced technology sector.
- Engineering/ design experience in the life safety systems
- Experience in equipment layout definition.
- Minimum 4 years proven leadership in life safety system design
- Working knowledge of NEC and current BICSI standards
- Ability to interact with other engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors at all levels.
- Experience using REVIT and BIM.

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Sciences.
- Familiar with IBC and NFPA 1 Fire Code as they pertain to LSS
- Design experience with security, access control, intrusion detection and CCTV
- Design experience with Fire Alarming, VESDA systems, HPM, and Leak Detection
- Experience leading a team of LSS design staff
- Knowledge of design and construction specifications
- Experience estimating and scheduling mid to large scale projects
- 5-10 years’ experience in design of life safety systems for semiconductor facilities

**Ideally, you’ll also have**:

- Master’s degree
- Working knowledge of 3D BIM software (Revit)
- 10 years of LSS design in semiconductor or datacenters
- Oversight of Quality Assurance and Checking program for LSS and Security systems
- Start-up and Commissioning of LSS and Security systems

Other Certification:

- CFPS - Cert. Fire Protection Specialist
- CPP / APP - Cert/Assoc. Protection Professional (security)
- PSP - Physical Security Professional
