Stone Finisher

An interesting opportunity has arisen within our production team as a Stone Finisher. This role is based in our production workshop in Lieurary Quarry, Thurso and involves using a variety of finishing techniques for our Caithness flagstone products including shaping and edging.

**Requirements**:

- Attention to detail and patience, we have a wide range of products which all need the same high standard of finish
- Ability to read order documentation, schedules and drawings
- Adaptable and flexible to the diverse nature of the role
- Good communication skills with colleagues in different areas of the production process
- Self-motivated and able to organised own time to suit order demands
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
- Physically capable of taking on the varied manual handling activities.
- Good technical skills and willingness to learn

On-site training will be provided however previous working experience in quarrying or construction industries are advantageous.

**Salary**: £14.00-£17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
