Retort Operator

**Who are we?**

IFC is part of a fast-growing group of companies, including Nor-sea Foods and Nolan Seafoods with sites in Fraserburgh and Aberdeen. It produces a variety of quality fish products largely under private label for a worldwide customer base. Trading principally in the Pelagic species - Mackerel, Herring and Sprats, Whitefish - Haddock and Whiting, and Salmon.

**What is the job?**

IFC - based beside Fraserburgh Harbour - are actively recruiting **Retort Operators **for backshift (shift is typically 3:00pm - 1:00am but times may vary).
- Good literacy and numeracy.
- Attention to detail, ability to focus and stay calm under pressure.
- Ability to work within guidelines and parameters.
- Good levels of physical fitness, able to push defrost trolleys.
- Flexibility with working hours.
- Good communication and ability to work alone or within a small team.
