The Role

Our Installation Technicians focus on repairs/customer education and reinstalling products within the first 28 days of purchase putting customer care at the forefront of their role.

As an Installations Technician, you will be delivering an excellent In-Home Customer Experience on Consumer Electronic products, primarily Digital Appliances that kick-starts the Samsung Customer Journey. You will ensure domestic appliances are installed at customer premises to a high standard and within health and safety regulations.

You will receive a personal development plan and training over a 3-6-week period. In this time, you will be trained to carry out diagnostics/minor repairs on all domestic white & brown goods - washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, cookers, and refrigeration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and inspection work on equipment that is within the 28-day purchase window
- When repairs cannot be carried out on the spot, Technicians may arrange for faulty equipment to be replaced or for further parts to be supplied to arrange a suitable fix
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Inventory management, responsible for managing spare parts van stock equipment and tools
- Ensuring standards are adhered to for all repair and support activities
- Excellent understanding of speed, quality, controls, measures, and procedures.

Skill, Experience & Qualifications:

- Full UK driving license
- Previous experience in the same or similar field-based, customer focused role
- Excellent communication skills demonstrated by delivering a customer focused and solution-based approach
- Understanding, interested in or knowledge of basic diagnostic equipment
- Previous experience in electrics / repairs of electronics / whitegoods / domestic appliance - desirable / installations / In-home customer support
- Knowledge of electrical procedures, testing and safety
- A responsible attitude to health and safety
