Sales Progressor

AshdownJones is a high-end Estate Agents specialising in selling unique homes in The Lakes, Lune Valley and Yorkshire Dales. We are looking for a sales progressor who will be responsible for managing a pipeline of sold homes by liaising with buyers, sellers, solicitors, other estate agents and other third parties to ensure that a home progresses from Sale Agreed to Completion.
The role of a sales professor typically requires great communication with all parties involved within the sale and the upper and lower chain. AshdownJones have a unique process of marketing their homes and customer service is a vital part of this process.
We would expect you to build great relationships with each client so they can trust you to deal with the sale or purchase of their home.
Knowledge and experience in this field is required but further training can and will be provided (conveyancing or estate agency).
This is a hybrid role working approximately 16 hours each week on a temporary contract covering a maternity leave. The position does have the potential for possible long-term opportunities, it would suit someone looking for part-time work with good experience in the field.
Duties would include but not limited to:
- Processing, onboarding and progressing all agreed sales through to completion
- High levels of regular communication with clients of which verbal is always preferred before digital
- Liaising with all parties involved in the sale including reliable updates to the AshdownJones team
- Providing regular updates to all clients on the progress of their sale or purchase.
- Updating and maintaining files and spreadsheets
- Booking in surveys and inspections
- Showing persistence on tight deadlines
**To be a world-class Sales Progressor at AshdownJones you need**:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Be driven, proactive and have a confident nature
- Full in-depth knowledge of conveyancing process
- Experience within a similar role in estate agency is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of current legislations (i.e. stamp duty, septic tanks, budgets etc)
- Ability to work under pressure and be driven by deadlines
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Problem solving abilities with a good and appropriate use of initiative
- To maintain an enthusiastic & high energy approach to work
- Flexibility will be required outside of the agreed working hours to ensure the highest level of communication with clients is achieved

This is a hybrid position with the opportunity of working both from home or at our offices in Windermere and would require approximately 16-24 hours per week.
