Give consistently good customer service - it is their aim that every customer leaves their Cafe satisfied everytime time.

**DUTIES & TEAMWORK**

**Contribute to the efficient running of the kitchen -**
- Supporting the Head Chef in the kitchen
- Food preparation and cooking
- General kitchen upkeep - keeping the kitchen tidy and hygienic at all times.
- Excellent food hygiene practices and keeping to food preparation legislation
- Have a good attitude - be responsible; conscientious; professional; committed; cooperative; cheerful; polite; positive; motivated and proactive. Set an example to other members of staff.
- Take care and take pride in what you do.
- Feedback relevant information to your Chef - both positive and negative.
- Anticipate problems and communicate to your Chef
- Assisting the Kitchen Porter/ Front of House if required to ensure a smooth customer service experience
- Basic stock management
- Understand and be familiar with what all the dishes are called and what ingredients are needed.
- Awareness of food allergens
- Help with rotation of stock
- Ensure no stale or bad goods are sold - if you are not sure about the freshness of a product, ask the Chef
- Waste control
- Suggest new ideas
