The role
We are seeking to appoint a Street Naming and Numbering (SNN) Officer who can demonstrate outstanding organisation, is solutions led and has excellent customer service skills.

You will have good IT skills, be aware of the latest technologies and maintain the Councils’ high-quality standard of addressing. You are motivated, a self-starter and have a willingness to learn new technologies. It’s essential that you are a team-player and have an attention to detail but also solution-driven and a willingness to be pragmatic. A knowledge of GIS and Gazetteer systems is important as they benefit from all the SNN tasks.

**Main responsibilities**

Some of the main responsibilities of the SNN Officer include:

- Ensure local/national conventions and BS7666 standards are fully adhered to in the LLPG maintenance process.
- Ensure that the statutory service of naming all new roads and numbering/naming new properties is carried out in accordance with Richmond and Wandsworth councils’ procedures/policies for Street Naming and Numbering and meets both council’s statutory regulations.
- Resolve address anomalies which have been highlighted between different address datasets in use within the SSA and by third parties and notify all relevant bodies of the official addresses.
