The school:
The headteacher of a school we work closely with is looking for a couple intervention teachers in BD2. It is based in a school we regularly receive positive feedback regarding their staff, children etc, supporting their year 6 pupils. This school aims toprovide a safe, caring environment in which children can experience a wide range of new opportunities, new challenges, and new achievements whilst they always strive to improve their high standards.

The role:
This role is to work closely alongside their KS1 and KS2 team to plan and deliver targeted small group intervention; depending on your experience and speciality you will be based in KS1 or KS2. It is a unique role and would be best suited to an experiencedteacher who is looking for a part time teaching commitment. In this role you will be expected to work closely with their pupils aiming to improve phonics, reading, and writing and mathematics therefore confidence with phonics and maths is ideal. You must alsobe a confident individual regarding tracking pupil progress and liaising with other members of staff.

The pay:
For this role the rate of pay will be between £20 and £35 an hour depending on your levels of experience.

The ideal intervention teacher must have
- UK QTS.
- Experience of working with Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
- Excellent Literacy and Phonics Knowledge.
- Confidence in mathematics and numbers.
- Enthusiasm and creativity that will inspire the children to learn.
- Be an organised individual who is able to monitor progress and to push the young pupils to their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
