Full Time - 37 hours per week
The Product Owner role entails collaboratively working with those in leadership, partners across health and care in Sussex and internal teams to capture and build digital solutions that meet the needs of OCC partners to deliver excellent care to Sussex residents.
**Tasks and responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute product roadmaps and release schedules
- Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria
- Work in a SAFe environment with colleagues to continuously review the business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks
- Work with stakeholders and users (OCC partners) across Sussex Health and Care Partnership to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritisation.
- Assist in defining the user experience for internal/externals users, including support and monitoring.
- Prioritise and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
- Oversee the backlog of improvements and defects, defining the requirements and acceptance criteria
- Develop and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance to evaluate future investment
- Facilitate release management and coordinate communications around product enhancements and releases
- Lead the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology
- Oversee delivery and product managers to ensure timely delivery of product capabilities to market
- Provide product updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives
- Prepare budgets based on scope of work and resource requirements and track project progress against them
- Analyse market capabilities to ensure service offerings are competitive in functionality and price
