**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Attending properties to measure rooms
- Drawing floor plans by hand and calculating area
- Ascertaining required square meterage of flooring
- Assessing property for which floor preparation is required
- Flooring sales at a property, and in store when required
- Keeping track of the measure appointment diary
- Have up to date knowledge of current carpet and flooring ranges, as well as preparation materials
- Communicate with both flooring branches to update on the outcome of estimations
- Ensuring that customer satisfaction remains high
- Other tasks associated with flooring as and when required

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Flooring sales or estimator experience is preferred
- Good time management
- Work well using your own initiative as well as under instruction
- A calm and pleasant demeanour in person and via the telephone
- Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office package
- Ability to quickly learn and retain knowledge
- Can work under pressure and multi-task.
- The capacity to see a project through from start to finish
