**MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT JOB SUMMARY**:
Due to ambitious growth, our client, with head offices in Ferndown, are looking to further expand their finance team, with the addition of either an experienced Management Accountant, or an ambitious individual looking for the next step in their financecareer, to Management Accountant.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a well-supported, friendly team within a relaxed office environment. At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role is essential, or, within a 'working towards’ role, you will benefit from working closelywith the MD and Company Accountant, who can support the right person in their progression into the Management Accountant position.

**MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Working closely with the Finance Assistant, to oversee Payroll processing (weekly & monthly), and CIS submissions
- Preparing financial documents such as invoices, accounts payable and receivable
- Completing financial reports (weekly / monthly) and providing information to the Management team
- Assisting with annual budget preparation and preparing yearly cash flow forecasts - working closely with the MD and Accountants
- Completing bank reconciliations and managing company ledgers
- Recording company expenditures and ensuring these expenses are within the set budget
- Completing the year-end analysis
- Prepare VAT returns
- Oversee and support other finance staff members in the team
- Finance related administration and other adhoc projects / duties, as required

**MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE**:

- AAT qualified - ideal, but not essential
- Minimum 5 Years of experience in a similar role
- Proactive individual focused on system and reporting improvements
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise projects to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent MS Office Skills
- Previous experience of working within a Group structure where your responsibilities span across more than one business, would be ideal
