**Overview**

2fawcett are recruiting for a Transport Planner to join a company located in South Derbyshire on a full time, permanent basis.

As the Transport Planner you will be responsible for the planning of material deliveries to customers, and material movement to and from subcontractors

**Role & Responsibilities of the Transport Planner**

Planning of material despatches to customers
Planning of material movements between subcontractors and collections from Suppliers
Communicates progress to internal and external customers
Creation and issue of the load list to the Goods Movement Team
Raising despatch notes and creating cert packs
Creation of the despatch manifest
Providing eta’s and pods where required
Sales order invoicing
Discrepancy investigation
Invoice analysis

**Requirements of the Transport Planner**

Previous despatch/transport experience ideal but not essential
IT literate (MS Office + ERP)
Able to work on own initiative with minimum of supervision
Good communication skills
Numerate and Literate
Attention to detail
Well organised approach
