Transport Administrator

We are looking for a Transport Administrator to join our night shift team to play a vital role in maintaining the flow of vehicles on-site using our transport management system.

Key responsibilities include:

- Book vehicles in and out of the site using the transport management system
- Working to booking targets
- Ensuring there is sufficient vehicle availability from 3rd party hauliers to cover planned loads, checking continually against planned production, and advising warehouse/logistics/hauliers of any issues.
- Supporting the loading of tankers on site for offsite production
- Processing Tesco customer orders daily, and liaise with the logistics team to ensure all orders can be fulfilled
- Updating and issuing reports

**Requirements**:
You must have experience in a fast paced administrative role within a transport or logistics environment.

Good organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for this position.

This role will be working nightshifts from 6.15 pm to 6.30 am with a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern. The salary is £29,427.00 per annum which includes a 25% shift allowance, plus additional benefits as detailed.

Please note that due to our location and public transport services available, you must be able to drive and have access to a car.
