As a Planner, you will be responsible for planning and issuing jobs to the field teams as well as organising their delivery schedules and ensuring that the installations are progressing as expected and completed on time. The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following tasks:

- Answering any queries from the client.
- Coordinating and scheduling civils related tasks into the existing BT network.
- Dealing with client requests in all aspects of the project and escalating any issues to the Programme Manager, when required.
- Ensuring that all engineers are organised, have the relevant site access and job packs for jobs they have been allocated.
- Maintain and build up a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders including colleagues, customers, suppliers, and senior management teams.
- Be able to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
- Communicate effectively with all other departments.
- Managing external design partners to ensure that the designs are delivered within agreed quality and timelines.
- Carrying out quality checks of design submitted by design partners and provide relevant feedbacks.
- Understanding and implementing design guidelines throughout the business to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Working closely with our Regional Build Managers to support the business KPI’s and targets.
- Work as a part of the project team to ensure that the build contractors are supported throughout the duration of the project, including managing, and responding to any design change requests.
- Support various other business functions with design data requests.
- Carry out occasional site survey to support plan and build activities.
- Implement and drive quality control processes.
- Have strong planning, organisation, and monitoring abilities.
- Strong administration skills and ability to use Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with Engineers daily.
- Ability to organise your workload and prioritise tasks accordingly
- Telecoms knowledge and scheduling experience would be advantageous
- Be computer literate.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Have a strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Can prioritise work, work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage business expectations.
- Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.
- A legal right to work in the UK.

Pay: £23,795.00 per year
