Patient Services Advisor

Patient Services Advisors are the first person the patient sees or hears when contacting the practice, therefore excellent interpersonal skills are essential to successfully execute the role.

Some of the core responsibilities of the Patient Services Advisor are as follows, this list is not exhaustive:

- Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers’ requests appropriately, including booking appointments.
- Process and effectively signpost patients to the appropriate healthcare professional depending on the presenting condition
- Process repeat prescription requests.
- Ensure any electronic tasks are dealt with in a timely manner
- Input data into the patients’ healthcare records as necessary
- Document any paperwork handed over the front desk and ensure it is passed to appropriate person/department to deal with
- Document received samples and ensure labels are correct

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £10.86 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Customer or Patient Facing: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
