A great opportunity has arisen to work young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. The role includes on-going weekly training and the chance to work alongside a wide range of students in the classroom environment, which makes it a great opportunity for both trainees/graduates as well as applicants with previous experience.

You’ll be working with young people aged 11 to 19 and helping to assist them with individual targets and skills with a focus on supporting independence, improved behaviour and social interaction. The aim is to support the students going into the next stages of their education.

You will be required to work with children/young people with a wide range of learning needs such as:

- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD / Dyslexia
- Social Emotional Mental Health
- Downs Syndrome
- Physical Disability
- Complex Needs
- Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties
- Complex Medical Needs
- Mild - Moderate Learning Difficulties

They work alongside parents and carers to ensure their students have the best environment possible to thrive in with an empathis on making them feel included in the local and wider community.

The school has amazing facilities including a hydrotherapy pool, sensory rooms, a therapy dog and a beautiful forest school. They have parking available on site and are easily reached via public transport.
