**Job Role**:Site Manager (Interiors/Fit Out)**

**Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 pa DOE**

**Line of Work: Commercial Fit-Out Contractor**

**Location: Central London**

Our client, a leading **Commercial Fit-Out Contractor** is looking for a No.2 Site Manager with extensive fitout experience to support the Senior Site Manager on a £20M project in City of London.

To be successful for this position you will need to have previous experience as a No.2 Site Manager on a large Commercial Fit-Out Project.

**Responsibility**:

- Support the Senior Site Manager
- Managing fit out packages through the cycle of the build and be able to understand the construction sequence and techniques employed. Programme control and the co-ordination of trades and the ability to adapt this where required.
- Ensuring that project plans and schedules are robust and optimise project resources and timescales, and that these are communicated effectively to the project team.
- Managing Sub Contractors, including monitoring of contractor attendance and progress; providing direct instruction and support as necessary such that contractual arrangements are achieved.
- Participate with the management of internal/external design team/consultants to meet project deadlines under supervision from the Senior Site Manager
- Appreciate the commercial implications and drivers within the construction process and incorporate these into decision making working closely with the Project Surveyor.
- Communicate with all labour on site for scheduling and reporting to Senior Site Manager
- Liaise with the Senior Site Manager so the Project Manager is fully aware of project progress and is notified of all financial, specification and time risks ensuring that all additional work is identified
- Ensure safety targets and standards are maintained.
- Ensure sustainability targets and standards are achieved.
- Assist with people management.
- Proactively assist with managing the customer relationship during delivery.

- Will have cut and carve experience
- Relevant construction qualification and SMSTS
- An understanding of project delivery from beginning to end and significant Fit out experience.
- Organised with the ability to prioritise and multi-task high volumes of work and tight deadlines
- A confident communicator and able to build relationships with subcontractors and stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
