**Position Overview**:
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Plant Operator to join our team in Braunton. The Plant Operator will play a crucial role in the operation and maintenance of our water treatment facilities, ensuring the continuous delivery of clean and safe water to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and monitor plant equipment to ensure efficient and reliable water treatment processes.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of plant facilities to identify any potential issues or safety hazards.
- Monitor water quality parameters and make necessary adjustments to treatment processes as needed.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Respond promptly to alarms or equipment malfunctions and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of plant operations, equipment maintenance, and water quality data.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the water industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of water treatment processes and equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract

Pay: £20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 60 per week
