Solar Pv Installer

NWT Energy are one of the oldest renewable energy companies still trading in the UK. We are looking for an experienced electrician with preferential qualifications, however this is not essential. The role is for a self-employed electrician to join our team to fulfil PV maintenance services on commercial & agricultural buildings. This is a role which requires extensive electrical (three phase) understanding and experience, the applicant must be able to work on their own initiative.

The successful applicant will be based at our Wivelsfield office and is recommended to live within a suitable travel distance. Our client base is spread across the UK so a willingness to travel for periods of time is a must. Mileage, accommodation, breakfast and evening meals are provided.

**SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS**
- Full clean UK driving license
- Experience of commercial solar PV systems (preferred)
- Experience with SolarEdge optimized systems (preferred)
- Knowledge of commercial three-phase electrical systems
- Ability to understand layout drawings and schematic diagrams
- Competent in using excel and other computer-based systems
- Provide the highest levels of customer service
- Happy to travel and stay throughout the UK for varied periods of time
- Excellent communication skills
- A passion for renewable energy

**ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Carry our electrical maintenance, produce reports, replace inverters & repair PV plants.
- Follow string plans
- Good communication with the office
- Ensuring H&S requirements are always met in accordance with documented safe working methodology

Salary is dependent on experience.

Monday to Friday

Additional training will be provided by one of our own electricians.
