We're looking for a dynamic, professional and laboratory-trained individual to join our fast-paced global wellness business offering allergy and intolerance testing, in addition we are expanding our laboratory health testing range.

**Job Purpose**:
To assist the operations in our allergy and intolerance testing labs ensuring good practice, adherence to SOPs and high client focus.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring testing is completed within customer promise timescales.
- Comply with business and regulatory requirements and best practice
- To ensure quality management of our services and processes.

**Customer Focus**:

- To be a referral point for some customer and internal queries.
- To ensure attention to detail with every test.

**Business Awareness**:

- To be fully aware of all services, products and any developments at all times.
- To be aware of the brands and their individual identities at all times.
- To be ensuring compliance with required regulations and best practices.

**Outline Skills**
- Great communication skills both personal and written format.
- Ability to listen and understand both client needs and the needs of department heads.
- Ability to work under own initiative.
- An interest in health and nutrition.
- Organised and able to work to deadlines and targets.
- The processing of samples in both blood and hair sections of the lab.
- Supervision of laboratory team.
- Ensuring laboratory team daily tasks and volumes are completed.
- Ensuring laboratory documentation is completed and available for audit by the lab manager.
- Supervision and stock taking of lab consumables, strips, etc and reporting of new orders required to the lab manager.
- Training and supervision of new lab team members.
- Opening and closing or arranging for opening and closing of the building during working hours whilst liaising with the other supervisors/managers.
- Ensuring adequate lab cover and agreeing holiday requests.
- Ensuring compliance with internal processes, SOPs and KPIs.
- Reporting of KPIs to the lab manager and lab director.

**Experience**:

- Laboratory: 2 years
- Team Leading/Supervisory 1 Year (preferred)

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
