To contribute to the smooth and efficient implementation and development of new and/or existing business and support operational activities within the warehouse in order to meet and exceed both the businesses & customer expectations

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Ensure that all activities are undertaken in accordance with current legislation, company policies and procedures and contract practices.

Ensure that all requests or instructions as conveyed by the management (in relation to duties, policies and procedures) are carried out in full.

Attend any developmental training as required in compliance with the Companies commitment to the Investment in People.

Become aligned to the requirements and standards required to deliver gold status across all UK Sites.

Provide management reports as required.

Supporting with implementation of new business to ensure seamless transition into the division.

Be involved in system testing, training and post implementation support. Working with Business Systems for new systems and new system releases.

To conduct yourself at all times, in a professional manner and promote a good image of the company.

Understand and comply with all relevant company rules, agreements, policies and quality procedures.

Understand and comply with all relevant legislative requirements and codes of practice.

To ensure good working relationships are maintained at all times.

To ensure company and departmental business is treated in the strictest confidence and not disclosed to persons outside the department or company.

To support and understand the 5s Methodology of the business in order to assist any required UK Contract Logistics site.

Provide as required, on-going support across all areas of the division within a number of functions as directed by your line manager.

Customer Services

Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers. ?

Administration

Ensure general administration is completed to highest level of standard and compliance.

Reporting as required.

Creation of training documents.

People Management

Effective support and leadership (when required) of operational teams.

Encouraging and developing lean thinking with all site staff.
- Previous shipping & logistics experience.
- Experience with event logistics is preferable. Good level of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience working with clients & suppliers.
- Experience with accountancy, such as invoicing, passing suppliers invoices etc.
- A desire to travel overseas and work as a team on a project. Multi-lingual is preferable.
- Minimum GCSE standard in English and Maths (or equivalent) essential
- Good understanding of accountancy.
